Mark came very highly recommended by a relative and did not disappoint in any way!

I asked him to devise a planting scheme around existing hard landscaping and some mature plants, with a couple of very tricky areas that don’t get much light and rain. Mark came up with a great plan that I was delighted with and then sourced all of the plants and came for a day to plant everything, working flat-out on one of the hottest days of the year.

Not only is Mark an extremely knowledgeable and hard-working gardener but also a really pleasant chap to work with, always replying to calls and emails promptly and arriving on time. I will certainly use him again and would not hesitate to recommend Plantlife Garden and Groundscare.

He designed it, he built it and he planted it! We first approached Mark with some broad ideas of what we were looking for as we were basically starting from scratch to completely transform a concrete expanse into a Mediterranean style garden with a shady far eastern feel at the side of the house. He helped us from start to finish with designs / ideas and planting plans and with various alterations until we were happy with everything. We are now enjoying our wonderful new garden.

I used Plant Life Garden and Grounds Care on two occasions in. I found Mark Jackman to be an excellent and tidy worker. He felled three trees for me, one overhanging a greenhouse, and carried out the work in a professional and safe manner without damage to the greenhouse or himself. He also cut back three more trees to about 60% of their original size and they are all growing well. He cut the logs to a usable size for my log burner. I have no hesitation in recommending Mark Jackman for any gardening work as he is hard working and very knowledgeable.

The couple have just had a large kitchen extension built with bi fold doors to the rear garden. They were looking for a paved area with seating as it’s a very sunny part of the garden and were also looking to have some of their favourite plants included in the plan. The lavenders and Agapanthus are a great summertime addition. We were also able to re use an old and cherished Acer into the scheme.
